Under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006, businesses and organisations have to indentify the presence of asbestos as well as manage it safely. If you are in control of a building, you have a duty to manage asbestos. This includes identifying the location and condition of asbestos-containing materials, determining the risks that these materials present, and preparing and implementing a plan to manage the risks.

Surveys

United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) accredited to conduct Type 1, Type 2 and Type 3 asbestos surveys. Our surveyors have vast experience of working on a wide variety of sites.

Sampling and analysis

UKAS accredited to both sample and analyse materials suspected of containing asbestos.

Preparation of policies and procedures

Vast experience in designing stand-alone asbestos management systems. We can also complement or enhance existing management systems.

Project management of asbestos removal works

Full service spanning tender preparation and review, contractor interviews, site inspection and monitoring works and post-works completion reports. STATS is UKAS accredited for airborne fibre monitoring, fibre counting and 4-stage clearance testing.
